Prepare a special alphabet snacks...

What can we do with letters?
Cut big letter from construction paper. Let children find pictures
related to this letter in magazines. Cut pictures and paste on outline
of the letter.
Letter mats
I made this letter mats with upper case letters. I place some plastic
objects in a basket. Children have to sort objects in the correct mat.
In this case, bear= B

Brainstorming
Brainstorm as many things as you can beginning with this letter, for
instance
how many animals
flowers
food
school objects
clothing items
house objects
friends at school...
Pocket chart
Prepare some cards with the letters of the alphabet and pics that begin
with that letter
Body letters
Make body letters, using many children on the floor.
Letter jars
I made these letter jars with plastic jars and labels. Children have to
sort small plastic objects in the correct jar.

Prepare a chart for children to write their favourite letter of the

Ring books
I am a bit fanatic of paper bags, in this case I used them to make an
abc book, my children cut and place pictures inside the bags
